Pick Me

It’s amazing how SXSW has easily become the center of the year, the event to look forward to. This year is especially exciting for me, as I’ve finally decided to man up and submit a panel idea.

The proposed panel is called “Cross-Pollination: Breeding a Better Web.” The idea is that an unlikely marriage of techniques like CSS, JavaScript, Flash, etc. (read: sIFR, swfIR, and the like) can really help to push the web forward. If this panel is picked, I’ll be working with none other than The Wolf himself, Mr. Shaun Inman. The two of us will be tackling this panel in a presentation-style, and you can be sure it’ll be so action packed that you may need parental supervision. If there’s something you’d like us to address specifically, just let us know by posting a comment here or and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

The SXSW panel-picker is now live, so please cast your vote for us as soon as you can!

Voted. If you don't get selected, I'll be the first to place the blame on hanging chads.

Vote has been cast. If you guys are selected, then I'll be telling my boss that as someone who's voed I HAVE to attend. So, I'll need you to back my up on that one ;)

Jason Beaird: Don’t worry: I’ll demand a recount.

Elliot Jay Stocks: I will not vote for your panel just because you voted for mine. I’ll vote for it because I’d love to see it!

Kirk: The affadavit is in the mail.

What a headache going through that list (I voted before seeing your link) - quite an adventure in usability, muddling through.

Good luck Dan!
