This is actually an old version of For the latest and greatest, check out the new site.

South By Southworthy

The gang is super excited about SXSW. For some of us, it's the very first time over to the cool kids' table. Others are seasoned veterans. But we're all stoked.

Adding to the hype is the fact that one of our sites is a finalist in the web awards. That's right: our Decibel Magazine site “pushes the boundaries of CSS coding technology, bringing together top-notch design and content with standards compliant and accessible code.” Woo!

If you like what you see, head on over to the 2006 SXSW People's Choice Awards and show your love. You can vote once a day. Philly representin!

I can't believe I'm going to miss another SXSW -- I promised myself after reading all the comments from last year that I would not miss it this time.

God -- where did the year go?

I just took a look under the skirt of that Decibel Magazine site and that is some pretty clean/slick code.

I noticed some tags for a CMS in there -- is there a pre-boxed CMS solution which is standards friendly or was that developed by Pixelworthy?

The design is very tight too .. I love the dirty look.

Good eats.

It's definitely CMS-work, and we had to work hard, but it paid off. The Decibel guys purchased the Ektron CMS before Pixelworthy ever entered the picture. Ektron spits out some nasty looking stuff by default, but my favorite rock star/web developer/partner–in–crime Jon stepped in and made Ektron bend to his will. You can read more about it on the Pixelworthy blog.
