Think Pink

I’ve never considered myself very active in social issues, but this is one I’d like to bring to the forefront.

You’ll notice that the links on the site are now pink. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the key is to raise awareness. It doesn't make me the most altruistic person, but taking a step forward is at least a step in the right direction. At the very least, please take the time to talk to someone about breast cancer. By raising awareness, we’re bringing the issue to light, and can perhaps inspire someone — perhaps ourselves — to make a difference.

In other related news, some friends have launched Change the Statistic, a beautiful website that allows users to make pledges for annual mammograms in order to fight breast cancer. Please spread the word!
